American GI Forum of Texas, Inc.: Austin, Texas– The Austin Chapter and the Austin Women’s Chapter of the American GI Forum of Texas awarded Mr. Samuel Silva Perez a $1,000 Scholarship for his outstanding scholastic performance. He received $500 for the fall semester and will be awarded the remaining $500 at the start of the Spring Semester.

Samuel is a graduate of Harmony School of Excellence, a charter school located in Austin and with campuses throughout the state. Besides this award he has received many others for his outstanding achievements. Samuel is and currently attending the University of Texas in Austin with a declared major in Government, which he hopes to follow up with law school!
