Beatrice Perez Annual Veterans and Youth Education & Technology Ceremony

American GI Forum of Texas, Inc. Report: Robstown, Texas – Since 1996, the Beatrice T Perez Robstown Women’s Chapter has been able to give back to the neighboring communities to continue to promote the American GI Forum motto, “Education is our Freedom and Freedom Should be Everybody’s Business!”

Over the years we have provided scholarships and devices to help our students, all who have proven to be successful with the help of our contributions. It is very important that we continue to help our deserving veteran’s community and students and pass down our vision of education just like we would any family tradition. Click Here to view photos of the event.

A tradition in which Dr. Hector P. Garcia was ahead of his time, creating an educational path for all Americans. There is no better time than now, to promote self esteem to be all we can be and grow to become a future leader and a role model in today’s society.

It is our generation that is making movements like no others in history. And it’s this generation and our founder’s legacy that must still be present in these current day movements!

Congratulations to the scholarship recipients, also to the schools that received a tangle asset for educational purposes, and most importantly to all of our sponsors thank you for believing and trusting us with our work.
